Websites

Take a look at some of the businesses that I have worked with to create stunning websites that showcase their brand.

*Please note that some of the images here have been cropped to showcase more elements of the pages. If you go to the website, there will be more content that might be placed slightly differently.

P.S. I love to support the small businesses that I work with, so i will be linking their information at the end of each section.

If you have been to Oak Barrel, you know the feeling of walking into that small ice cream parlor, smelling home-made waffle cones and seeing the iconic wall. For those of you that have not visited Oak Barrel, you are missing out, but this is the hand-painted ice cream wall.

Square is a popular POS system for small businesses. Oak Barrel wanted to use this software to design their website because there would be no additional cost. Working in Square was a challenge because of limited customizations. Even though this was not optimal, the website does capture the feeling of Oak Barrel while still being user friendly and functional.

Want to try the best ice cream in the Central Valley of California?

Jill and I met with Susie to discuss her needs for an online presence. Her main goal was to sell less art in person and more online, also reaching a larger audience. To reach this goal, we thought it best to create an e-commerce store and an Instagram and Facebook page for this reason.

For the website, we discussed the pages, colors, and feel that she wanted for her brand. We wanted to display her art on the website in such a way that did not take away from the beautiful pieces she has to offer – but to enhance them instead. The website was to have a gallery feel to it, as if the pieces were on display. The colors we decided to use were red and green – two action colors that will entice the viewers to purchase pieces from Susie Hoffman Fine Arts.

Susie takes her paintings to local galleries in her area and as a result, those original pieces would not be available for sale online, but she would have prints of the original pieces made to order. We wanted to make sure to accommodate her needs in this e-commerce store so we made sure to include this specialization just for her!
